La electrónica de control de los sistemas piezoeléctricos y magnéticos de Cedrat se basa en actuadores de la serie CA (amplificadores compactos) on en sistemas board montados en rack (RK).
DRIVERS O CONTROLADORES PARA PIEZOACTUADORES
La serie independiente de los llamados actuadores compactos (CA) está adaptada para encajar en espacios reducidos o en soluciones integradas, proporcionando así el mejor ratio precio/potencia del mercado. Estas series de drivers autónomos son básicamente soluciones de lazo abierto (excepto el modelo CA45) y lazo cerrado que pueden ser desarrolladas y adapatadas bajo petición.

For driving piezo actuators between -20 and +150V, the 75 series rack includes at least:
- An AC/DC converter providing the required stabilised DC voltages (LC75 or SC75)
- An voltage electronic amplifier (LA75, SA75, SP75)
MAGNETIC DRIVERS
The rack electronic families (RK) are more versatile and mainly dedicated for laboratory use.
For driving magnetic actuators between -46 and +46V, the 24 series rack includes at least:
- An AC/DC converter providing the required stabilised DC voltages (LC24)
- A current electronic amplifier (LA24)
PIEZO MOTORS DRIVERS
The control of a SPA piezo motor requires:
- a position sensor (for closed loop operation)
- a signal generator
- a one-channel piezo amplifier
- a controller (for closed loop operation)
These 3 last functions and even more have been integrated in the “Stepping Piezo Controller” SPC45, dedicated for the small SPA motors. This controller has been built to offer large possibilities to designers, from fast motion setup to completely controlled movement. In addition to previous functions, it includes a friendly PC software interface, as well as USB serial port to meet every designer’s requirements.
The standard drivers can be equipped with controllers and sensor conditioners.

SENSORS & CONTROLLERS
For fine motion control, CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES offers several solutions in terms of sensors and controllers. They are compatible with piezo and magnetic actuators and with the driving electronics from CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES.
A selection guide for sensors and controllers is proposed in order that the customer can build its own sytems according to its needs.
Two kinds of Sensor Conditioners are available: Strain gauges and Eddy Current Sensors.
Three types of Digital Controllers are proposed : UC45, UC65 and UC75 control boards.
CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES has developed software HDPM downloadable on the Graphical Users Interface webpage. Both the UC45 and UC65 come with the HDPM45 GUI whereas the UC75 controller comes with the HDPM75 front panel executed on a PC.
